In addition to committing to the eight principles of the KE concordat, higher education providers who sign up to participate in the development year are expected to conduct a self-evaluation of their KE strategy and practice, using the KE concordat. HEPs will produce and publish an action plan that identifies priorities, good and innovative practice, and areas where improvement is needed. They will consider and respond to feedback and advice from the evaluation panel.
Following the development year, HEPs are expected to produce and publish an action plan every 2-3 years.
For more details about what is expected of a HEP, please see the Expecations of Signatories document.
