Higher education providers will publicly commit to and adopt the eight principles of the KE concordat as a framework for effective knowledge exchange.

In subsequent years, HEPs are expected to participate in the evaluation process following the development year, during which a HEP will carry out a self-evaluation and produce an action plan. HEPs will be required to consider and respond to feedback and advice from the evaluation panel.
