We expect and hope that the concordat involves
engagement (of varying degrees) with multiple groups of staff and students who
have a stake in the institution’s KE success. This includes senior leaders,
whose buy-in is essential to sustainable positive institutional change.
We expect the submissions of action plans
themselves will be led by directors or heads of KE, but that others working on
KE will be involved in completing the gap analysis and suggesting suitable
actions. We recognise that the staff responsible for KE in smaller institutions
are likely to have wider remits, and this will be accounted for in developing
the submission process by minimising burden.
