Providers do not have to engage with the concordat. However, not engaging will mean providers will not have the opportunity to clearly show how they are boosting their KE capacity, leadership, continuous improvement and strategic development.
If your higher education provider is in receipt of KE funding from a government funding body, there may be future implications for not engaging with the concordat which could be linked to eligibility for that funding (see questions on links to funding for further information).
